If your WHMCS website can successfully send emails then the WHMCS Firewall module will automatically be able to send email also.

We will not go into troubleshooting general WHMCS email sending issues in this article.

If you are receiving emails from WHMCS but not from the WHMCS Firewall module then there are likely two problems.

(1) You have not created the CRON jobs required for WHMCS Firewall

Login to your WHMCS > hover over the menu tab ADDONS > click on FIREWALL MANAGEMENT > click SETTINGS > You will see the exact path, command and recommended time intervals for each of the 4 cron jobs that need to be created.

(2) You have not selected Admin users or email addresses to receive alerts.

Follow the steps below to select users who should receive security alerts.
